Tourists love to visit LlanfairPG Station, or more accurately Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch Station, in the small village of the same name. For obvious reasons, the name of this village is commonly reduced to LlanfairPG - it is the longest place name in Britain in full form and it contains 58 letters. The name was purposely conceived in the 19th century to draw in tourists. It means "St. Mary's Church in the hollow of the White Hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the church of St. Tysilio near the Red Cave." Visitors love to see the station's name up on the side of the building and pose for a picture. It is also a novelty to print off a very long train ticket, which features the station's full name.
