Built between the years of 1283 and 1289 by Edward I, Harlech Castle is a World Heritage Site that overlooks Tremadog Bay. This castle is well know for its power and strength; it took nearly one thousand men approximately seven years to build. Harlech Castle formed part of a bold military strategy and has been termed "the castle of lost causes."
