Caernarfon Castle is considered to be the most famous castle in Wales. This castle was built by Edward I in 1923 as both a military stronghold and a royal palace. Designed to resemble Constantinople, the castle stands along the Menai Strait. Caernarfon Castle is also home to the Regimental Museum of the Royal Welch Fusiliers.
