Chepstow Castle towers over the River Wye. Construction of this castle began in 1062 and this made it the first stone castle to be built in Britain. Construction and additions to the structure took place in the 19th and 20th centuries. Like many other castles found in Wales, excellent exhibits about the castle are offered on-site.
